Tears of Trust
Somewhere in the world,
an unseen bell begins to ring
and in the stillness of the sky
a river of sound rises,
like a march of pain
calling my name
from a thousand wounded hearts.
Sorrow drifts in like mist,
softly stealing every colour in my mind.
I see familiar eyes,
faded portraits in a broken mirror,
their breath carrying the salt of tears.
They come to me,
empty from losing their own,
seeking shelter in my heart’s quiet courtyard.
I open my hands,
like the first rain falling on thirsty earth.
My tears become a secret spring;
they bathe in its trust
and breathe a little lighter,
while I keep wearing away inside,
like a broken star
drowning in time’s dark, hidden tide.
Where feelings wander
Every night I fall asleep
with uneven ripples of emotion
trembling softly beneath my skin.
In the hush of darkness
they walk away,
disappearing into some distant corner of the sky
where even dreams lose their voice.
By morning I search for them
like a torn page in a forgotten book
no bookmark,
no trace of where the feeling once rested.
Only a quiet emptiness
fluttering in the wind.
So a new day begins again,
and in the silent, tender touch of everyday work
tiny buds of thought slowly begin to bloom.
Deep inside the day's quiet heart,
in the soft light of dusk,
they begin to flower in secret.
stringing them into a small garland
to place over my tired soul—
a quiet gift
from the evening
to the morning within me.
My emotions touch the sky though I know
they will wander away again
When night returns ...

In Every Prayer
I have never seen God,
yet His presence breathes
in every prayer.
In joy, in sorrow,
He walks beside me.
I speak, He listens;
I share, He holds.
This is my love for Him,
and His love for me —
perhaps the world calls it
devotion.
My love for you
is the same devotion —
immortal, unbroken.
Whether we remain
in earthly form or not,
death holds no power
over eternal love.
Keep loving,
and love will keep us
forever.
Inner Rain
Last night the rain fell without pause,
the city soaked in its silver torrent.
Streetlights drowned in shimmering pools—
but my own inner rain
could not wet a thing,
only left the heart’s field cracked and dry.
Your kiss—
my sudden oasis.
Your embrace—
the weary shade of my desert.
Your touch—
a quiet smile
rising in eyes already brimming.
Like the city, I long to drown—
not in any secret storm,
but in the deep gravity of your gaze,
looking only at you.
